1. Educational Information Only

Everything on this site, including program guides, the care options screener, and cost ranges, is general educational information. It is not legal, financial, tax, or medical advice, and it is not an eligibility determination. Only the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs can decide eligibility for VA benefits. VA rules and rates change, so check va.gov or talk with a VA-accredited representative before making decisions.

2. The Care Options Screener

The screener points to programs that may be worth learning about and kinds of help that often fit, based on a few general answers. It does not estimate any benefit amount, does not say whether anyone qualifies, and does not consider everything VA considers. Cost figures are typical market ranges for home care, not VA benefit figures. Using the screener creates no relationship with us, VA, or any provider.

3. The Directories

• Where listings come from. Home care agencies come from the federal National Plan and Provider Enumeration System, with Medicare certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. VA-accredited representatives come from VA’s accreditation roster.
• No endorsement. A listing is not a recommendation, and it is not a VA approval. Results are ordered by distance, and no one pays to appear or to rank higher.
• Check before you hire. Records can be out of date. Confirm licensing, accreditation, insurance, fees, and availability directly with any provider. For representatives, you can verify accreditation on VA’s own search. Any agreement you make is between you and that provider.
• Fees for VA claims help. Veteran Service Organization representatives help at no cost. Accredited attorneys and claims agents may charge, but VA rules generally bar fees for preparing an initial claim.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, or harvest the directories or other content in bulk, including by automated means
• use listing information to send unsolicited marketing
• submit false listing reports or misuse the contact form
• interfere with the site's operation or security, or try to access data you aren't meant to
• use the site in violation of any law

5. Our Content

The site’s text, design, graphics, and software belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Public government data in the directories remains public; our compilation and presentation of it does not.

6. Links to Other Sites

We link to va.gov, Google Maps, provider websites, and other resources for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

7. No Warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, about its accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Homecare for Veterans is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision made or care arranged based on information from this site, including the conduct of any provider found through a directory. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

9. Changes, Governing Law, and Contact

We may update these terms; the effective date shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update.
